About

Louis Roederer is a renowned champagne house founded in 1776 in Reims, France. Initially known as Dubois Père & Fils, it was renamed by Louis Roederer in 1833 after he inherited the company from his uncle. The house remains one of the few independent and family-run champagne houses, with a commitment to terroir, tradition, and vision. Louis Roederer is famous for its prestige cuvée, Cristal, created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II. The company owns 240 hectares of vineyards, with all its wines (except Brut Premier) made from estate fruit, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency. Today, it is managed by Frédéric Rouzaud, representing the seventh generation of the family.
