About

Château Palmer, located in the Margaux appellation of the Médoc, is a renowned Bordeaux wine estate. Founded in 1814 by Colonel Charles Palmer, the estate has a rich history, with notable owners including the Pereire brothers, who modernized the vineyards and constructed the iconic château in 1856. Today, it is owned by the descendants of the Sichel and Malher-Besse families. The vineyards, covering 66 hectares, are planted with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, producing wines known for their complexity and elegance. The winemaking process involves precise parcel-by-parcel vinification and aging in a mix of new and old oak barrels, resulting in a rich, full-bodied wine with complex aromatics and flavors.
