About

Château Clinet is a renowned estate in the Pomerol appellation, known for its rich and complex wines. The vineyard, spanning 11.27 hectares, is situated at the highest point of the Pomerol plateau, benefiting from diverse soils including gravel, clay, and iron-rich deposits. The estate is predominantly planted with Merlot (88%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (12%), with some Cabernet Franc. The wines are hand-picked and undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The aging process typically lasts 18-22 months in 60% new oak barrels, contributing to the wine's robust tannins and aging potential. Château Clinet is celebrated for its sensual bouquet and layered palate, making it a prized investment and drinking experience for wine enthusiasts.
